This book explores the various ways through
which learners can get involved in the conservation of different resources in
the environment. The book’s content has been adopted from the Grade 4 Social Studies
curriculum topic “Resources in the County'', ensuring that it remains relevant
to the learners’ studies. It utilises a practical case scenario of how the
Aberdare forest within the Muringato area in Nyeri County, Kenya has been
affected by deforestation from 1990 to 2020. Let’s Save Our Environment is structured in an interactive way to
encourage the involvement of the teachers and guardians.
